The Regional Government decided to extend, until June 30, 2021, the deadlines for submitting applications for several of the Region’s private investment incentive systems.
These investments include the various subsystems of Competir+, namely, Promotion of the Economic Export Base, Internationalization, Qualified and Creative Entrepreneurship, Qualification and Innovation and Local Development, as well as Adaptar Açores.
With these extensions, the Executive intends to guarantee the availability of incentive systems for private investment in the Region during the transition to the new programming period of the European Structural and Investment Funds, creating a welcoming environment for investors who decide to support the development of the Azores and invest in increasing the competitiveness of the regional economic fabric.
