50% reduction in base registration application fees for EU and national trademarks and designs

The third window for applications to the SME Fund begins on May 1, 2021, lasting just 1 month. In Portugal, the trademark and design registration service will be available.

Provided by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and managed by the Ideas Powered for Business Programme, this service consists of direct financial support in the form of reimbursement vouchers for 50% of the expenses incurred in submitting one or more requests of registration of Trademarks and Designs or Models (application fees) and applies at national level (through INPI), at regional level (in Benelux) and at EU level (through EUIPO), up to a maximum amount of 1,500 euros per company
